Is it worth it? Last time I tried to watch it was in a theater in 3d. I had the munchies from uhmmm eating too many “cookies” and passed out halfway through.

Little know fact. The Cherno Alpha Male Pilot is from the same small town in New-Brunswick Canada as I am. We went to the same school and everything but he is about 20 years older than I am.

He is our local celebrity, Robert Maillet is 7’3” tall. He use to be in Wrestling under the name of Kurgan. He was also in a slew of other small roles on the big screen.

My favorite of his roles was the big french dude in Sherlock Holmes.

Both roles left me with the impression I’d seen him somewhere before, but I hadn’t connected them. I think I probably saw him first in 300.
His casting in Pacific Rim was excellent - he does a very good cartoon Russian.

It’s like a Michael Bay movie if Michael Bay were better at action scenes and knew his limitations dialogue/human interactions-wise.
